| Self-Invested Personal Pension |
A Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) is one of two types of UK personal pension scheme, the other being an insured or conventional Personal Pension. With a SIPP, the scheme member has some power to direct how the contributions are invested.
The main reason to choose a SIPP rather than a conventional personal pension is to exercise power over the type and range of investments bought; especially having the power to purchase commercial property either directly or with a mortgage, or to buy and hold individual shares. Many investors have been attracted to SIPPs due to this flexibility.
Pritchard has been involved in SIPP management since this attractive form of pension was first approved by the Government in 1989. Our investment advisors have a wealth of experience in this area and we work with all the major SIPP providers in the UK.
We believe by having your SIPP managed by Pritchard and receiving regular valuations you can monitor the value of your fund and work with us to control risk and amend the investment strategy to reduce the risk as you approach retirement. |
